Markus Funk is a UX specialist, data scientist and programming expert. He worked in the field of Automotive, Voice-User Interfaces, Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality and Human-Drone Interaction. Markus holds a PhD in Human-Computer Interaction from the University of Stuttgart that he did at the HCILab under the supervision of Albrecht Schmidt. During his PhD, he spent a research semester at Fluid Interfaces group of the MIT Media Lab under the supervision of Pattie Maes in Cambridge, MA. Through industrial internships, e.g. at Yahoo!-Labs in Sunnyvale, CA, and Siemens in Berkeley, CA, Markus gained experience in different industries.
